چکیده

This paper aims to investigate the spin dependent transport properties in hybrid nanoribbons, using non equilibrium Greens function method. The effects of temperature gradient between left and right leads, ferromagnetic exchange field, local external electric fields are also included. results show that up down currents produced flow opposite directions with almost equal magnitudes. evidently shows carrier is dominated by thermal current. Whereas electron current disappeared.

Spin-polarized proximity effect in superconducting junctions

We study spin dependent phonomena in superconducting junctions in both ballistic and diffusive regimes. For ballistic junctions we study both ferromagnet / sand d-wave superconductor junctions and two dimensional electron gas / s-wave superconductor junctions with Rashba spin-orbit coupling. It is shown that the exchange field alway suppresses the conductance while the Rashba spin-orbit couplin...

Perfect spin filtering effect and negative differential behavior in phosphorus-doped zigzag graphene nanoribbons

On the basis of the density functional theory combined with the Keldysh nonequilibrium Green's function method, we investigate the spin-dependent transport properties of single-edge phosphorus-doped ZGNR systems with different widths. The results show a perfect spin filtering effect reaching 100% at a wide bias range in both parallel (P) and antiparallel (AP) spin configurations for all systems...

Spin-dependent Seebeck Effect, Thermal Colossal Magnetoresistance and Negative Differential Thermoelectric Resistance in Zigzag Silicene Nanoribbon Heterojunciton

Spin-dependent Seebeck effect (SDSE) is one of hot topics in spin caloritronics, which examine the relationships between spin and heat transport in materials. Meanwhile, it is still a huge challenge to obtain thermally induced spin current nearly without thermal electron current. Here, we construct a hydrogen-terminated zigzag silicene nanoribbon heterojunction, and find that by applying a temp...

Spin-Flip Scattering Effect on the Current-Induced Spin Torque in Ferromagnet-Insulator-Ferromagnet Tunnel Junctions

We have investigated the current-induced spin transfer torque of a ferromagnet-insulator-ferromagnet tunnel junction by taking the spin-flip scatterings into account. It is found that the spin-flip scattering can induce an additional spin torque, enhancing the maximum of the spin torque and giving rise to an angular shift compared to the case when the spin-flip scatterings are neglected. The ef...

Nearly Perfect Spin Filter, Spin Valve and Negative Differential Resistance Effects in a Fe4-based Single-molecule Junction

The spin-polarized transport in a single-molecule magnet Fe4 sandwiched between two gold electrodes is studied, using nonequilibrium Green's functions in combination with the density-functional theory. We predict that the device possesses spin filter effect (SFE), spin valve effect (SVE), and negative differential resistance (NDR) behavior. Moreover, we also find that the appropriate chemical l...
